Oshawa, ON (Sept. 13, 2025) - A decisive 3-1 road win at Ontario Tech saw the Carleton Ravens men's soccer team extend their undefeated streak on Saturday afternoon.
The Ravens (2-0-3) opened the scoring in the 20th minute when John Aldiban scored for the third consecutive match. The strong forward has continued to impress since returning to the lineup last weekend.
Trivine Esprit erased the Carleton lead early in the second half. The deadlock was only short-lived when Darren Bouaziz scored his first goal of the season just six minutes later.
Carleton would add a brace in the 84th minute when Adrian Vranjkovic scored his second of the year, closing out a physical affair. The two teams didn't shy away from tough football, with ten yellow cards being handed out, including seven going to Ontario Tech.
"Great win and bounce back from last weekend’s sour draws. The Boys showed passion and heart, always ready to regain possession," shared Ravens' head coach Marcelo Plada. "Joseph (Daher) was class in the middle. Anthony (Aweya) impressed us and was not overwhelmed by the environment. Our subs delivered perfectly - Darren (Bouaziz) scored, Mati (Markus) assisted, Adrijan (Vranjkovic) killed the game. Proud bounce back from last weekend."
The Ravens will have a chance to redeem last weekend's draws when they head North September 20 and 21 to face Nipissing (0-2-3) and Laurentian (0-3-2).
