OTTAWA (Sept. 5, 2025) - Twenty-eight early points were the difference as the Concordia Stingers built an early lead and held off Carleton 42-20 on Friday night.
The Stingers' forwards set the tone early on Friday night, ripping into the Carleton attack line, building their early lead. Despite a persistent defence, Carleton was unable to hold off Concordia. By the time the first half-hour had passed, the Ravens were down 28-0.
Katie Cox helped Carleton to battle back with a pair of penalty kicks before they got momentum running in the second half. Sierra Hasse and Lindsay Pare added tries late in the second half to cut into Stingers' lead.
With the loss, the Ravens prepare to head to Laval to face the Rouge-et-Or on Saturday, September 13.
