Carleton Athletics are proud to announce the hiring of Taylor Peiser as the new Head Coach, Women’s Soccer. Peiser’s hiring marks the completion of a national search to identify the first full-time head coach in program history.
“Taylor’s proven ability to elevate programs, mentor athletes and coaches, and her commitment to advancing women’s soccer make her the ideal choice to lead the Ravens women’s soccer program into its next chapter,” said Kwesi Loney, Director of High Performance Sport.
Peiser brings nearly two decades of coaching experience across Canada, the United States, and internationally. In her current role as a Coach Developer and Learning Facilitator with Canada Soccer, Peiser has been at the forefront of delivering national licensing programs in both English and French, including the CONCACAF C and B Diplomas. She has played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of coaches through initiatives such as the AccelerateHER license pathway, which provides mentorship, support, and a positive learning environment for female coaches across the country.
Complementing this, Peiser brings NCAA coaching experience from her roles as Assistant Coach at UC Davis (Division I) and San Francisco State University (Division II).
Peiser’s experience also includes serving as Assistant Technical Director for the Association Régionale de Soccer de la Rive-Sud (QC), where she spearheaded initiatives to expand opportunities for women and girls across 12 member clubs. Taylor designed and implemented female-only development camps, established mentorship networks for coaches, and headed regional selection programs—work that significantly strengthened the women’s game at both grassroots and competitive levels.
A Bilingual leader, Peiser holds a Canada Soccer National B Licence and is currently completing her CONCACAF Diploma. She also holds a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University.
“I’m honoured and excited to take on the role of head coach of the Carleton Ravens women’s soccer team,” said Peiser. “Stepping into this position, I’m deeply aware of how much heart, effort and progress have been invested in this program—and that gives me immense respect for the foundation we have.”
“My vision is to build on our team’s current successes and culture while pushing toward new heights and achieving new milestones together - both in on-field results and community impact,” she continued. “I look forward to working with our student-athletes, staff, and the Carleton community as we build a program that reflects the excellence and spirit of the Ravens.”
Peiser will join Carleton Athletics at the beginning of November, as she begins planning for the 2026-27 season.
