Waterloo, ONT. (Oct. 11, 2025) - Just five days after a successful Panda Game, the Carleton Ravens made their way to Waterloo to face the number one-ranked Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday night, falling 55-12.
The Ravens took steps back in all three phases of the game from where they had been a week ago. Sputtering on offence and struggling to establish the run, Carleton's passing game couldn't find enough consistency to work out of difficult field positioning.
A Brandon Forcier 20-yard field goal finished off a 10-play, 49-yard drive to open the scoring, but things quickly went downhill for Carleton. Laurier would score four straight majors, a rouge and a field goal to lead 32-3 at the half.
Keyshawn Reid would score the Ravens' only major of the second half, a 6-yard touchdown run at the end of a 6-play, 75-yard drive before the Golden Hawks took over in the fourth quarter.
Despite the loss, the Ravens remain in playoff contention. Should they win on Saturday at McMaster, the Ravens would be guaranteed a playoff spot.
