Ottawa, Ont. (Oct. 27, 2025) - The Carleton Ravens are proud to announce Rosie O'Brien and Emanuel Milon have been named Ravens Athlete of the Week presented by Gabriel Pizza for the week of October 20-26, 2025.
It was a historic weekend on the water for Carleton's Rosemary (Rosie) O'Brien. The Ottawa rower captured Carleton's first-ever women's rowing gold medal in the women's single, earning the title of OUA Rowing Female Athlete of the Year. O'Brien's gold is the first for any Ravens rower at the OUA Championship in over a decade.
Veteran forward Emanuel Milon was a force for the Ravens in their season opener at Guelph on Saturday. The 6'6" fourth-year from Ottawa had 16 points and 12 rebounds, including 7 at the offensive end, as Carleton opened the season with a 68-58 win. Milon kick-started the Ravens' offence, scoring 7 points in the opening quarter.
