The pipeline between the Carleton Ravens and CPL continues to run through Atletico Ottawa following the 2026 CPL-U SPORTS Draft, presented by Degree. The reigning CPL champions claimed local product Joseph Daher, who had a major impact on the Ravens backfield in 2025.
The TFC Academy alumnus Daher brings a dynamic attacking style that features ambidextrous striking abilities. In his first season in the OUA, Daher appeared in 10 regular-season games, starting 9, before starting all three Ravens playoff games.
Prior to joining the Ravens, Daher spent two seasons at Marist University, starting in 28 of his 30 appearances and playing over 2,300 minutes.
Daher joins a long line of Ravens to be selected by or signed with Atletico Ottawa joining the likes of Adam N'Goran, Luka Piccioli, and Mohamed Bouzidi. The most famous Raven to make the move to Atletico Ottawa is GAIS star Matteo de Brienne. After an impressive 2021 season, de Brienne signed as a free agent with Valour before joining Atletico in 2024.
Among the former Ravens in the CPL this season, Daher will look to follow in the footsteps of Amadou Kone (Forge) and Gabriel Bitar (York) who both played in the CPL during the 2025 season.
