The swim team competed at the Dean Boles Division Championships at the University of Guelph on November 22 and 23, 2025.
The highlight was Jessica Thebarge qualifying for U Sports in the 200m IM, becoming the first female Raven to make U Sports in 20 years, since Heather Macdonald in 2005-2006.
Jessica Thebarge won three events (100m backstroke, 200m IM, and 400IM), and places second in 200m backstroke. Jace Borden placed second in the 100m freestyle. Thebarge would set five individual Varsity records at the event.
There were lots of great swims with the majority of the swimmers setting best times. Carleton placed fifth overall for both men and women.
A big thank you to Co-Head Coaches Mark Blenkinsop and Nico Belisle, and Assistant Coach and Manager Andrew Beckett for all their work. Great job by team captains Beatrice Buentiempo, Olivia Davis, James Gohl, and Nathan Landry.
And kudos to our timer Timmy Hildebrand who timed the whole meet and to those who both swam and timed: William McInerney, Simon Mbobela, Nate Fisher, Taryn Donnelly, Alelia Miller, Myron Liew, Matt de Sousa, and Daelan Perera.
