OTTAWA - Carleton Athletics has named swimmer Jessica Thebarge and basketball player Cedric Mbiaba as Athletes of the Week presented by Gabriel Pizza for the week of November 17-23, 2025.
Gabriel Pizza is the official pizza of the Carleton Ravens and a proud supporter of the Ravens Athlete of the Week award.
Jessica Thebarge ended a twenty-year drought, becoming the Ravens' first female swimmer since Heather Macdonald (2005-06) to qualify for the U SPORTS Championships.
Thebarge broke five varsity records, including three she set earlier this year, while winning the 100m backstroke, 200m IM and 400m IM at the 2025 Boles Division Championships.
Ravens forward Cedric Mbiaba was a force on Saturday as the Ravens took down the Gee-Gees. Mbiaba recorded his first double-double as a Raven, with 11 rebounds, 10 points and 4 assists.
