Ravens guard Kyana-Jade Poulin was dominant over the weekend, averaging 29.0 points per game. Poulin scored back-to-back thirty-point games on Saturday and Sunday. Kyana-Jade shot 40% from the field over the weekend while making 19 of 22 free throws. Poulin was also a defensive force, generating four steals and collecting 10 rebounds over the two games.
Ravens assistant captain Payton Miller had a goal and an assist on Friday night for the Ravens before adding a goal in the shootout. The third-year Health Sciences student from Deep River, Ontario, continues to be a leader on the Ravens blueline, playing key minutes and leading the team with three goals.
Ravens leading scorer Nick McCarry was a catalyst for the team's five-goal third-period comeback over RMC on Saturday night. The fourth-year forward from Calgary, Alta., kick-started the Ravens' offence with a beautiful goal to open the third before igniting the power play for four unanswered goals as the Ravens erased a 5-2 deficit to win 6-5 in regulation.
