Winners of two straight, the Carleton Ravens men's basketball team heads on the road for the first time in 2026. The Ravens finally found some consistency at home last weekend, beating Toronto and the ranked TMU Bold to improve to 12-2.
The Ravens have shot the ball incredibly well for most of the season, shooting 44.8% on Saturday, including 8-22 from beyond the arc. If they can take that shooting with them on the road, they'll be in a good spot against an aggressive Lions team. York is second in the OUA in steals per game. The Lions are led on both sides of the ball by guard Jerimiah Kwarteng. Kwarteng is fourth in the OUA with 19.4 points per game while also being sixth in the conference with 27 steals.
Saturday, the Ravens visit a struggling McMaster team that is currently 2-13. McMaster find themselves in the middle to bottom half of most statistical categories this season. Ares Culley-Bremner has been a bright spot for Mac at third in the OUA with 107 defensive rebounds. When the two teams met at Carleton in the preseason, Emanuel Milon had 17 points and 9 rebounds for the Ravens. Carleton won the contest by 14.
Carleton will look to continue to use their size inside all weekend. On Saturday, Carleton outscored TMU 40-22 in the paint while maintaining a 10-point margin on second chance points. The Ravens were tested throughout the contest as the lead changed 11 times, but 10 points from MJ Okado in the fourth quarter helped to put things away.
Four games up on Ottawa for first in the East, Carleton would love to continue to keep or add space on their crosstown rivals as the OUA playoff race heats up.
