OTTAWA (Feb. 25, 2026) - The Carleton Ravens overwhelmed the visiting Toronto Varsity Blues in the fourth quarter, securing an 80-65 victory in the OUA semifinals.
The Ravens finally tipped the scales in the back-and-forth contest when Aubrey Dorey-Havens connected on an inbounds alley-oop to Emmanuel Ngo Kana Suzama in the final seconds of the third quarter.
Until Suzama's massive dunk, the Ravens and Blues had traded leads through the third quarter after a hard-fought opening half. Dorey-Havens got things started for the Ravens in the first, scoring four points, all from the charity stripe, while recording five rebounds and a steal.
The Ravens' third-year guard would finally hit a field goal in the second that seemed to ignite a tentative Carleton offence. The Ravens' depth carried them through the second, with Emanuel Milon coming off the bench to score seven points while Tyler Brown recorded three rebounds and two steals.
Powered on by Simeon Jeffers, the Varsity Blues kept pace with the Ravens through the third until Suzama's monster alley-oop sent the Ravens' Nest into a whirlwind of excitement. It was all Carleton from that point on, turning their three-point lead into a 15-point gap with Dorey-Havens pointing a pair of threes and Milon dropping seven more as the Ravens clinched their first trip back to Nationals since 2023.
The Carleton Ravens will now head on the road to face the TMU Bold for the Wilson Cup on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
