(Mar. 2, 2026) - The Carleton Ravens have named Emanuel Milon and Catherine Oliver as Athletes of the Week presented by Gabriel's Pizza.
The duo played key roles in helping the Carleton Ravens basketball teams qualify for nationals. With a pair of wins on Wednesday, the Ravens return both teams to the Final 8 tournaments for the first time since sweeping the championships in 2023.
Oliver had 13 points, four rebounds and 2 steals in Wednesday's win over the Queen's Gaels as the Ravens advanced to the OUA Finals. In the Critelli Cup, Oliver played 25 minutes off the bench, recording five points, a rebound and a steal. The second-year guard continues to find her game after sitting out the first half of the year due to injury.
Veteran forward Emanuel Milon had 14 points and 5 rebounds in the Ravens' semifinal win over Toronto. The fourth year added an assist and a block. In Saturday's Wilson Cup game, Milon had seven points, four rebounds, one steal, and two blocks in 20 minutes, continuing to increase his minutes after missing the final four games of the regular season.
