The Carleton Ravens' road to a fourth straight U SPORTS Final 8 Championship game begins Thursday when the Ravens face the AUS champion UNB REDS.
The women's basketball team open the 2026 Sun Life U SPORTS Women’s Basketball Final 8, Presented by Michelob as the number 7 seed. Carleton last faced UNB during the 2024-25 preseason, coming away with a 79-69 win.
Including a pair of AUS all-stars in Katie Butts and Kylee Speedy, the REDS went 18-2 in regular season play and have a 25-3 overall record. UNB swept the AUS playoffs with wins over STFX, 72-52, and UPEI, 84-59.
The Ravens are 3-0 all-time against UNB, with the 2024-25 preseason contest being the only encounter during coach Dani Sinclair's tenure.
The Ravens will tip off their chase for the Bronze Baby in the tournament opener on Thursday at 12:30 ET. Tickets for the tournament are available on the U SPORTS website.
