Carleton Ravens men’s basketball player Kaza Kajami-Keane (Ajax, ON) is this week’s TSN 1200 Male Athlete of the Week.
Kajami-Keane, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound guard, played an integral role in Carleton’s victories over No. 5 Brock (Dec. 2) and No. 7 McMaster (Dec. 3) to help the Ravens maintain a perfect 5-0 record in the OUA regular season.
The fifth-year senior posted 16 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals in the Ravens’ 80-68 win over the Badgers, before registering 16 points, five assists and three rebounds against the Marauders the following night.
Kajami-Keane is currently leading the nation with 7.4 assists per game.
Kaza, a 2015-16 CIS Second-Team All-Star, is enrolled in Communication Studies at Carleton.
Carleton Ravens women’s basketball player Heather Lindsay (Ottawa, ON) is this week’s TSN 1200 Female Athlete of the Week.
It was a memorable weekend for the Ravens women’s basketball program, and Lindsay was a major factor in the team’s two wins as Carleton moved to 4-1 in the regular season.
Lindsay scored 10 points and added six rebounds, two assists and one block in Carleton’s 73-49 triumph over the Brock Badgers on December 2. However, the 6-foot-3 forward’s top performance came on December 3, when Lindsay put together a sensational stat line of 25 points, 17 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and one assist in an a 77-51 upset over U Sports No. 1 McMaster.
Lindsay, a 2015-16 OUA First-Team All-Star, is working towards her Environmental Studies degree at Carleton.
