Week Ending February 8
The 6’6″ forward from Richmond, British Columbia, was a driving force in the men’s basketball team’s victory this past weekend at the MBNA Capital Hoops Classic against the University of Ottawa. Thomas scored 29 points and got 12 rebounds.
The history and theory of architecture student from Timmins, Ontario participated in the OUA Swimming Championships this past weekend. She swam personal bests in all four of her events and landed on the Carleton All-time Top 20 list in all her swims: 4th in the 50m backstroke, 12th in the 100m backstroke, 13th in the 200m freestyle, and 14th in the 100m freestyle.
