Men's Basketball
Connor Vreeken had the hot hand in back-to-back nights for the Ravens this weekend. The guard out of Kingston had 16 points on Friday including shooting 2-for-4 from beyond the arc while adding four rebounds. On Saturday, Vreeken continued his sharpshooting scoring 12 points, including going 2-for-5 from downtown as the Ravens swept a home-and-home with the Gaels.
A second-year guard out of Kingston, Ontario, Vreeken is studying Health Sciences student.
Women's Basketball
On Saturday night, in her last regular season game at the Ravens’ Nest, Madison Reid broke the all-time regular season three-point record when she drained her first deep ball of the right in the first quarter.
The record breaker didn’t take Reid long, after going 4-for-7 in the teams win Friday in Kingston, Reid’s first of the night was enough to reach 119. Reid would add two more, while scoring 17 points, setting the new high at 121.
A fourth-year psychology student from Carleton Place, Ontario, Reid was celebrated Saturday as one of the final two graduating players from Carleton’s 2018 national championship team.
