Right back Raphael Garcia (Ottawa, Ont.) had his way with the Paladin backline over the weekend. Garcia was instrumental in much of Carleton’s attacks adding a goal while also being instrumental in a number of Ravens scoring plays.

After a series of near misses on Friday night at RMC, Chloe Doherty (Ottawa, Ont.) brought a torrid pace to Sunday’s contest providing the Ravens with the game-winner, a brace and some extra insurance all in the first 37 minutes.

The Ravens captain finished a Taylor Saunders cross in the 23rd minute to open the scoring and never slowed. Asked about her improved finish, Doherty offered a change of technique helped her find success. “I was obviously frustrated with myself with all the chances I missed on Friday,” said Doherty, adding “I just knew I had to finish them today. So I just focused on passing the ball into the back of the net instead of just shooting it.”
