Week Ending September 4, 2018
Aribido (Port Harcourt, Nigeria) started the Labour Day weekend off with a bang by netting his first 2 goals of the season in the Ravens’ road matchup against UOIT. He followed that up with another goal the following day as the Ravens won big 7-0 over Trent. He’s been a force for the Ravens who head into their 3rd weekend of the season with a 4-0-0 record, good for a tie at the top of the OUA East standings. The team also cracked last week’s USPORTS Top 10 at #5.
Aribido is a Political Science major in his 2nd year of eligibility.
The Ravens women’s soccer team broke through with their first win of the season over the Labour Day weekend against Trent. Zutruaen’s goal was her first of the year and ended up being the game winner in their 1-0 win. The Ravens will stay on the road next weekend as they head down to Toronto to face the Ryerson Rams and Toronto Varsity Blues.
Zutrauen, an Ottawa native, is a Health Sciences major in her 4th year of eligibility.
