Cherent, a native of Ottawa, was a force in the backfield against Nipissing and Laurentian on the weekend.

Melat demonstrated tremendous poise in central defence as the Ravens only allowed one goal over the two games played. Melat was a big factor in her team’s defensive efficiency, as she made timely challenges against opponents and was aggressive in loose ball situations.

Melat also used her speed and impressive ball control skills to contribute to the Ravens’ attack.

Cherent is in her 2nd year in the Law (BA) program.
