About Carleton Artistic Swimming:
Carleton University Ravens Artistic Swimming Club was started in 2012, and has continued to grow as a student-run competitive club. We have a novice program for people trying synchro for the first time, and a competitive program for people with synchro experience. In the 2019-2020 season, our club had two competitive teams, a novice duet, competitive duet and a competitive solo.
We compete in the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League (CUASL, universitysynchro.ca). Our season runs from September to February with three competitions: an invitational in November, Eastem Divisionals in early February, and Nationals Championships at the end of February.
Tryout Information 2019/20:
For the Novice program, a “Try Synchro” is held in September for those interested in joining the program for the full season (September-February). “Try Synchro” events are also held throughout the year for anyone interested in stopping by the pool and trying the sport.
For the Competitive program, tryouts are held in September to assess skill level and placement on competitive teams and extra routines.
Whether your background is in artistic swimming or not, we will place you in a group that suits you – We have a spot for everyone!
