MONTREAL, Quebec – The Carleton Ravens football team came up short in their 24-11 exhibition road loss to the Montreal Carabins.

QB Mike Arruda went 10-21 with a touchdown pass to RB Josh Ferguson and 3 interceptions. He also used his legs to pick up 15 yards on 2 carries.

The Ravens defense was able to force two fumbles of their own, recovering one. Though Montreal significantly out-gained the Ravens by yardage, the first downs were nearly even – Carleton had 13 to Montreal’s 15.

With their only exhibition tune-up now in the rear view mirror, the Ravens shift their focus on their home opener. They’ll welcome the defending Vanier Cup champion Western Mustangs to MNP Park on Sunday, August 26 at 1pm.
