The clash of these two conference rivals showed a fast, furious and aggressive pace in the first 45 minutes of the game. The Rams saw the best chance to open up the scoring on a missed shot in a breakaway after 20 minutes into the game. The first half would head into the break in a scoreless draw.

After a hard 25 minutes of battling to take control of the middle of the field, the Ravens saw their first attempt on goal when Dario Conte (Ottawa, ON) unleashed a right foot shot to the goal’s left upper corner, deflected by the Ram’s goalie.

In the 30th minute Stefan Karajovanovic (Gatineu, QC) came in off the bench to open up the scoring for the Ravens with a first touch finish off of a corner kick from Cobisa. As the Rams pushed forward, they opened up the space for the Ravens’ offense. This gave an opportunity for Dante Cobisa to expand the lead for Carleton, curling the ball to the goalie’s left side from 45 yards out, making it 3-0.

The Rams were unable to maintain Raven’s dynamic offense in the last ten minutes of the game as Dario Conte ended the match, scoring the third for the Ravens from a 45 yard shot for a 3-1 win for Carleton.
