QUEBEC CITY, Quebec – One of Carleton’s own was selected to represent Canada on the international stage. Nordic Ski standout Zoe Williams participated in the FIS Cross Country World Cup Finals in Quebec City over the weekend. The event consisted of one sprint and two distance races.

Williams was one of 8 athletes to earn their qualification to the team in the week before the event at the Canadian Ski Championships in Gatineau, Quebec. Williams finished at 66th in the overall standings with 317.25 FIS points at the end of the weekend.

The achievements keep coming for Williams, as she successfully defended her OUA championship banner earlier this winter and won gold for Nakkertok in the women’s team sprint event at the Canadian Ski Championships.
