PETERBOROUGH, Ontario – On October 5th, the Ravens traveled to the Peterborough Rowing Club for their first away regatta of the season. The Head of the Trent is another head race, seeing competitors from universities all across Ontario and Quebec. It is another time trial style head race along the Trent Canal north to Trent University. Carleton pulled hard against changing winds throughout the entire 4.6 km course racking up 6 fourth place finishes.
Out of 17 entries, 14 crews placed in the top 10 of their events. The Ravens will have another chance to compete against the same boats at the Brock Invitational Regatta in St. Catharine’s, Ontario on October 12th. This time it will be a 2 km sprint side-by-side event.
