OTTAWA, Ontario – The Carleton Ravens men’s hockey team is adding some offensive depth with their latest recruit. Ottawa native Oliver Castleman has committed to the Ravens for the upcoming season.
The winger comes to the Ravens after spending four years in the OHL with the Niagara IceDogs. Castleman posted 40 points or more in three of those seasons and played in more than 60 games in all four.
Castleman says he is happy to play hockey in a familiar place.
“I’m extremely excited and honoured to have been given the chance to be a Raven. With a brother and sister who both studied at Carleton, I think it’ll be the perfect fit for me and the best way to reach my academic goals.”
The former IceDog says he hopes to bring his strengths to the Ravens lineup.
“The three main keys to my game are hard work, speed, and physicality, so I think the Carleton team will be a perfect fit for me.”
