OTTAWA, Ontario – The work of one Ravens women’s hockey player helped people in Ottawa warm over the holidays.
Emma Weller’s story of handing out handmade toques and mittens to local homeless communities made local headlines in December, while getting a tweet of approval from Carleton alumnus James Duthie of TSN.
Raven…CU Journalism student….No surprise. Nice work Emma. https://t.co/PSW45u4iaJ

Duthie and the TSN production team then reached out to Weller and her family to produce a heartwarming feature ahead of Bell Let’s Talk Day.
