Carleton University Ravens Football is very excited to announce the signing of Nathaniel Behar to their 2013 roster. The London, Ontario native is one of the most prized recruits in Canada and one that has the ability to have an immediate impact. Following his visit to the nation’s capital over the past weekend, Behar has chosen Carleton University as his destination of choice.
Nathaniel (Nate) Behar is a milestone in the recruitment processes. He is ranked as the no. 1 wide receiver and is one of the top 10 football players in the country. “Getting Nate Behar early in the recruiting year really legitimates the direction that the Ravens football program is going towards. Not only is he a quality football player, but his character is what makes him so special. With a young team going forward, we believe that a player like Nate will attract other top players to Carleton University,” said the Ravens head coach Steve Sumarah.
Jean-Philippe Asselin, the offensive coordinator also sees great potential in Nate. “Nate is a very good receiver, I think a lot of people know that by now, but what I really like about Nate, is his work ethic and the passion that he plays the game with.”
