14 players to watch in the 2014 U-Cup

Three Ravens were spotted by the StarPheonix and are said to be watched in the national championships this weekend.

Mike McNamee (Carleton Ravens) The 6-foot-1, 181-pounder led the Carleton Ravens with 36 points in 28 games. Mc-Namee was named an OUA all-rookie and second-team all-star.

Mitch Porowski (Carleton Ravens) The 6-foot-4, 212-pound. Porowski had 29 points in 28 games this season for Carleton. Porowski had played major junior for both the QMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques and OHL’s Brampton Battalion.

Matt Stanicz (Carleton Ravens) First-team OUA all-star D-man had 19 assists in 18 games with Carleton, and played for the Memorial Cup-bound Owen Sound Attack in 2011.
