It only took one shot to find the back of the net in Carleton’s 1-0 victory over the Trent Excalibur.

The Ravens were in Peterborough on Saturday afternoon in men’s OUA East soccer action.

Midfielder Joey Kewin (London, ON) scored in the 40th minute of the game and provided the only offence of the game for both sides. It was the fifth year player’s 8th marker of the season.

“Joey (Kewin) and we (Carleton) really dominated the game,” said Sandy Mackie, Ravens head coach.

“I truly believe we could have won by five but we ended up winning and that’s what matters.”

Carleton goalkeeper Travis Chase registered the shut-out.

The Ravens record improves to (6-2-1) while Trent slides to (1-8-1).

The Ravens are back in action on Sunday, October 6 when they visit RMC at Kingston beginning at 3:15 PM.
