The Carleton Ravens and RMC Paladins met upon Sunday afternoon in OUA East women’s soccer action with neither team scoring a goal.

After 90 plus minutes of action, the game ended in a 0-0 tie.

“Considering the difficult weather conditions, we (Carleton) played well in the first half and created chances but the ball would not go in” said Ravens head coach, Alex McNutt.

“We’re disappointed that we didn’t’ win but the effort was certainly there. The girls are looking forward to playing Queen’s on Wednesday. We’ll be ready.”

Ravens goalkeeper Elizabeth MacDougall (Carleton Place, ON) registered her second straight shut-out after blanking Nipissing 5-0 on Saturday.

Carleton (7-2-3) finishes the weekend in 3rd place in the OUA East division with 24 points.

The Ravens trail the 2nd place University of Toronto Varsity Blues (8-2-2) 26 points and division leading Ottawa Gee-Gees (10-0-2) 32 points.

On Wednesday afternoon, October 9 the Ravens will play host to the Queen’s Gaels who are nipping at Carleton’s heels in the standings with a (6-2-3) record and 21 points with a game in hand.

Game time at the Ravens Field is 4:00PM.
