WWP | Ravens fall to Blues in semis

TORONTO, Ontario – Semifinal #2: Toronto 14, Carleton 5

The top-seeded Toronto Varsity Blues led from start to finish, building a 4-1 lead after the first quarter. Emma Brezoczky scored a hat trick to lead a 5-2 second-quarter effort for the Blues as the home team took a 9-3 lead into halftime.

Brezoczky and Rhianna Wood each scored a game-high four goals, while Caitlyn Tiedje notched two on the day. Katie Smith, Alicia Vas, Sarah Wentling and Daniela Freeman added one goal apiece in the win.

Carleton was led by Alicia Morewood’s two-goal performance. Carley Paquette, Rachel Howes and Case Langevin also scored in the loss.
