TORONTO - In the first U SPORTS basketball rankings of 2022 the Carleton Ravens women's team has gained ground while the men's team maintained their grip on the top spot.
After a decisive 63-43 win over the uOttawa Gee-Gees in the 2022 Capital Hoops Classic the women's team climbed two spots to 6th in the rankings. Climbing back up to sixth, the 7-2 Ravens now set their sights on two games this weekend against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
In men’s hoops, the undefeated Carleton Ravens (9-0) remain atop the rankings. The No. 1 Ravens defeated the Ottawa Gee-Gees (8-1) 71-58 in the Capital Hoops Classic last Friday to continue their dominance over the OUA East division.
