OTTAWA - Four Carleton Ravens have been invited to the CFL Combine ahead of the 2022 CFL Draft. Keaton Bruggeling has been invited to the National combine while Jonathan Edouard, Sandor Mod and Cedric Lavigne will participate in the East Regional camps with hopes of earning entry to the CFL Combine presented by New Era from March 25-27 in Toronto.
The three Ravens in the Eastern Regional will put their fitness to the test on March 11 in Baie-D’Urfé, Quebec.
Bruggeling (St. Catharines, Ont.) had 17 receptions for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2021. In week 1, the wide receiver burst out with 6 catches for 109 yards. The 6'3" Bruggeling set career highs in 2021 for receptions, yards and touchdowns.
Graduating player Jonathan Edouard (Orlando, FL.) appeared in four regular season games for the Ravens recording 15.5 tackles and providing special teams support returning two kicks for 34 yards (17.0 average).
Sandar Mod (Welland, Ont.) appeared in two games recording 3.5 tackles and 1 sack before suffering an injury in the Panda Game. In 2019, Mod recorded 11.0 tackles and 3.0 sacks in five games.
A third-year defensive back from Gatineau, Quebec, Cedrick Lavigne had 11 solo tackles and 5 assists for 13.5 tackles in 2021. His 11 tackles were a career-high for Lavigne who recorded 5.5 tackles over his first two seasons.
