OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens men's hockey team are pleased to announce their first commitment for the 2022-23 season with the signing of Navan Grads defenceman Alexandre Hogue.
In 25 games this season Hogue has 27 points including 7 goals and 20 assists. Prior to signing with the Grads in 2021, Hogue played two seasons with the Sarnia Sting and one with the Gatineau Olympiques. The offensive defenceman joins the Ravens with over 130 games of major junior experience.
The Embrun, Ontario product, who played minor hockey with the Eastern Ontario Wild, is excited to stay close to home with the Ravens. "I couldn’t be more excited to join the Ravens family," said Hogue. "I’m extremely thankful for all the people that helped me along the way. I’m looking forward to get to work with the boys in the locker room and meeting all these great people."
While Hogue will join the Ravens in the fall, the team now turns their attention to the remainder of the 2022 season as the OUA prepares to resume this February.
