MONTREAL - Mark Grametbauer was sensational for the Carleton Ravens on Friday night but it wasn't enough as the undermanned Ravens fell in overtime 3-2 to the McGill Redbirds.

It looked as if the Ravens may steal two points on the road when Parker Aucoin scored on the powerplay late in the third. However, the Redbirds would finally get their second of the night past Grametbauer with only seconds left to force overtime.
Only 40 seconds into the extra frame the Redbirds struck as Scott Walford beat Grametbauer on McGill's 42nd shot of the night for the victory.
The Ravens offence didn't appear to miss with two months off, the powerplay went one-for-four while Oliver Castleman showed he's still hot scoring his fifth of the year to get the Ravens on the board in the second period.
"We battled hard tonight," said coach Shaun Van Allen. "With a short bench, I'm happy with the point but disappointed not to come away with two."
The Ravens won't have to wait long for their second shot at the Redbirds, the two teams travel to the Ice House for a meeting Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
