TORONTO - Carleton Track and Field club team member Alexandra Telford opened up the 2022 season with a bang, shattering her school record in the 300m indoor. Telford, a Master's of Architecture student, ran a personal best time of 39.25 on Saturday moving her into 5th place in U SPORTS on the season.
On Friday, Alex ran 7.72 in the 60m which surpasses her personal best by .14 seconds. The time currently sits Alexandra in the U SPORTS top-20 and is the second-fastest performance all-time for the Carleton Ravens behind Amelia Brohman.
On Saturday the 400m was amongst her strength in the 300m running her new personal best of 39.25 which eclipses her own school record of 41.58. Following her strong showings on the track, Alexandra is currently 4th in the RSEQ 60m rankings and 1st in 300m.
