OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens women's basketball team has added Cégep Sainte-Foy forward Florence Fortin. A dynamic forward, Fortin will hope to make an immediate impact with the Ravens in 2022-23.
Currently among the RSEQ leaders in points per game, 3-points made, 3-point percentage, field goal percentage, rebounds and scoring, Fortin brings a deep resume to the Ravens. At 6'1", the senior Fortin is a versatile player who enjoys shooting, driving the lane and posting up.
"I loved my visit, the coach and the vibe with the girls on the team," said Fortin. A future business student, Fortin was a multi-sport athlete before focusing on basketball having excelled off the course in soccer, track and field and swimming.
