The Ravens will enter the U Sports Final 8 presented by the Westin Edmonton as the wild card and seventh seed as they play the Canada West champions, the University of Victoria Vikes at 10:00 p.m ET on Friday, April 1, 2022.

The Ravens hold the wildcard for the first time since 2006, a tournament where they also faced the Vikes - two rounds later in the championship game.
The Ravens enter the matchup looking to regroup after falling 86-80 to the Queen's Gaels in a high-scoring OUA East Final, while the Vikes enter the matchup without a loss since October 30.
Two of the most storied programs in the history of U SPORTS basketball, the Ravens and Vikes last met at the Final 8 in 2015 with the Ravens beating the Vikes 83-74 in the semifinals. The two teams have met five times since at the House-Laughton and Guy Vetrie tournaments.

Diego Maffia - Maffia is a Canada West Second Team All-Star who led Victoria in scoring with 17.5 points per game while contributing a team-high 3.8 assists and over 4 boards a night.
Elias Ralph - The Canada West Rookie of the Year Ralph averaged 9.4 points per game on 48.5 percent shooting.
Dominick Oliveri - The Vikes big Oliveri averaged 9.0 rebounds per game while contributing 8.3 points per game throughout the Canada West season.
