OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens and coach Shaun Van Allan are pleased to announce the commitment of Alexandria, Ontario's Kieran Craig for the 2022-23 season.
Craig will join the Ravens from the QMJHL's Blainville-Boisbriand Armada where he currently has 13 points in 17 games since being acquired from the Gatineau Olympiques. A left-shot forward, Craig will rejoin his former minor hockey teammate and recent Ravens commit Alexandre Hogue with the Ravens next season.
In 187 career QMJHL games, Craig has 103 points and 130 penalty minutes. Prior to joining Blainville-Boisbriand Craig played parts of four seasons with Gatineau after playing the 2017-18 season with the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL.
Having spent the past few seasons in the QMJHL, Craig admits that he's looking forward to playing at home in front of family and Ravens fans. A two-way player, Craig was a member of the HEO AAA's Eastern Ontario Wild during his minor hockey days.
Craig will study psychology when he joins Carleton for the 2022-23 season.
