OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens men's soccer team and coach Kwesi Loney are pleased to announce the commitment of St. Andrew's College midfielder Owen Bradbury.
Bradbury joins the Ravens after helping to lead the St. Andrew's College Saints (SAC) to the CISAA league championship. SAC’s co-captain and a four-year starter, Bradbury is described as a vocal leader who started both the midfield and at centre-back while contributing seven goals.
Bradbury joins Carleton with extensive international experience including extended trials with Brentford FC, RCD Mallorca and Right to Dream (Ghana). Having developed his skills with Ascent Soccer (Uganda) Bradbury joins the Ravens understanding how the program can help him achieve his professional aspirations. "Choosing to stay in Canada, I believe that at Carleton I have the best opportunity to eventually play pro."
Self-described as a playmaking box-to-box midfielder, Bradbury looks forward to helping the Ravens compete for a return to the U SPORTS Championship tournament. Bradbury will join the Ravens for the 2022 season where he looks to apply his range of passing, vision and shooting from distance to help the Ravens improve on last season's second place finish.
