The Ravens were victorious in the Hearthstone Grand Finals against York Lions.
Carleton struggled in the back half of the season and their route to the finals was very uncertain. Carleton battled hard in the quarters and semis to reach the finals against the unexpected counterpart, fourth place York who upset first-place Durham previously in the playoffs.
Carleton took an early lead with a convincing defeat in round 1. In round 2 Carleton came out on top with the help of a few blown plays from York and secured the 2-0 lead even though they were facing an unfavourable match up in favour of York. Carleton would drop round three and take the fourth to win the match 3-1.
Since the playoffs are double elimination and York had entered the night undefeated the two teams would play another match to determine the champion.
In the next game, Carleton and York would split the first two rounds making it 1-1 going into round 3. Again, the Ravens and the Lions would split the next two rounds and set up the deciding round 5. The two teams went back and forth but Carleton would come out on top to become back-to-back Hearthstone champions.
The Ravens are now two-time OPSE Champions.
The Ravens beat the Waterloo Warriors three rounds to one to win the inaugural season for OPSE Valorant.
After losing to first round to the Warriors the Ravens would go on a run to win the next three rounds and close out the game.
