EDMONTON - The Carleton Ravens men's basketball team has advanced to the U SPORTS Final 8 semifinals following a 94-77 win over the Canada West champion Victoria Vikes.
In classic Ravens style, five players scored in double digits led by Nike Player of the Game Alain Louis who finished two assists shy of a triple-double with 10 rebounds, 17 points and 8 assists
After the Vikes pushed back in the second half the Ravens shut the door with a 21 point fourth quarter while holding the Vikes to just 13.
With the win, the Ravens advance to face the host University of Alberta Golden Bears on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. MT/10:00 p.m. ET.
The Bears advanced after Canada West Player of the Year Tyus Jefferson scored 31 points leading to an 85-68 victory over the RSEQ Champion McGill Redbirds.
