OTTAWA - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Thursday the signing of two Ottawa-native U SPORTS players, including Ravens guard Aiden Warnholtz (Kanata, Ont.).
A six-foot-two guard from Ottawa, Aiden Warnholtz has averaged 7.2 points and 2.5 assists in 57 games over a three-year span with the Carleton Ravens, where he won three consecutive U SPORTS National Championships and two OUA titles.
This year, as a junior, he averaged 12.9 points and 4.3 assists in 14 games with the team. He finished eighth in the OUA in three pointers per game (2.3) and assists per game (4.3) and ranked fourth in the OUA in Assist/Turnover ratio (2.0). The 2022 Ravens Men’s Basketball Team MVP helped Carleton win the 2022 U SPORTS National Championship with his 15.3 points and 4.7 assists per game during three National Championship tournament games, in addition to shooting .444 from behind the arc.
