Former Carleton Ravens standout Gaby Bitar has been named CPL Player of the Week for week 9. The midfielder has been a bright spot all season for Edmonton, and there was no exception on Sunday.
Much as he's done many times as a Raven, Bitar's run and through ball to Mamadi Camara created the Eddies’ goal in the game, and helped them come close on several other occasions with three chances created over the course of 90 minutes.
Bitar has appeared in all nine matches for the Eddies this season, recording seven shots in just under 800 minutes of play.
