OTTAWA – The Can-Am Shootout returns for the 2022 preseason with the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team hosting three games against NCAA competition. This August, the Ravens will welcome Northeastern, Florida State and Oregon at the Ravens’ Nest.
In addition to playing three games at home, the Ravens will travel to the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, for a game against Kentucky.

Can-Am Shootout Schedule
Playing their first home game since winning their sixteenth USPORTS Final 8 Men’s Basketball Championship in April, the Ravens will open the schedule on Saturday, August 6 against Northeastern. Having last met in 2017, this will be the fourth meeting between the two teams.
Coming off their twentieth NCAA Tournament appearance The Florida State Seminoles visit on Monday, August 8. Last season Florida State had wins over top ten teams Duke, Syracuse and Notre Dame.
Making their first trip to Ottawa, the Oregon Ducks reached the second round of the NIT Tournament in 2022, recording regular season wins over UCLA, Stanford and USC. The Ravens and Ducks will meet on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
All three games at the Ravens’ Nest tip off at 7:00 pm with tickets on sale now at GoRavens.ca/tickets.
The Ravens travel to face Kentucky on Saturday, August 13 at the Baha Mar Convention Center in Nassau Bahamas. The two-seed Wildcats 2022 season ended at the NCAA Tournament with an overtime loss to St. Peter’s.
