GOLF | Ravens Golf to Host Open TryoutsThe Carleton University varsity golf program will be conducting an open tryout Tuesday, August 30 & Friday, September 2, 2022.
Location: The Marshes Golf Club, 320 Terry Fox Drive, Kanata, Ont.
First Tee Time: 2:00 PM Tuesday & 1:00 PM Friday
Format: 36-hole total score stroke play event
Cost: $140 + HST payable by debit or credit card during registration About the Team:

Men’s travel squad comprises 5 players of which 2 spots are available

Women’s travel squad comprises 4 players of which 2 spots are available

The men’s team may carry up to 3 more players and the women’s team up to 2 more players, in case of injuries or other circumstances

Tournament play will entail at least 4 invitational events and the OUA championship while the team also practices every week and most weekends from the beginning of September to the middle of October;

The team also holds off-season activities

About the Competition:

To be competitive in Ontario University Athletics (OUA), men’s travel squad players need to be able to shoot 75 or better in competition during fall weather conditions

Similarly, women’s travel squad players need to be able to shoot 85 or better
