A pair of Carleton Ravens have been named to the preliminary Team Canada roster for the FIBA 2022 AmeriCup. Current Ravens forward Grant Shephard and reigning Male Athlete of the Year Lloyd Pandi were named Tuesday to Canada's 17-man training camp roster.

Shephard and Pandi both played for the Ravens 2022 National Championship team. Following the season Pandi chose to pursue a professional career while Shephard, will be returning to the Ravens. Earlier this summer Shephard was invited to the Canadian U23 training camp ahead of the GLOBL JAM tournament held in Toronto.
Shephard is entering his second season with the Ravens after transferring from UBC. Pandi capped off his Carleton career as the winner of the Mike Moser Memorial Trophy (U SPORTS Outstanding Player) and U SPORTS Final 8 Tournament All-Star Team, as well as being top ten in points per game (15.4), rebounds per game (6.9), field goals per game (5.9) and field goal percentage (61.6)
