Carleton Ravens back Maya Addai is the first U SPORTS women’s rugby player of the week for the 2022 season after setting a single-game school record with 6 tries in a 72-7 victory over the Sherbrooke Vert & Or last Thursday.
A two-time RSEQ First-Team All-Star, Addai also passed Bailey Dean to become the Ravens’ second all-time leading scorer with 120 career points. The fourth year Childhood and Youth Studies student has also spent time with the Canadian national development team program.
