Kingston, Ont. – The Carleton Ravens are 2-0 on the road to start the season after beating the RMC Paladins 5-1 on Friday afternoon. Scott Mazzotta scored twice while Kevin Kaba, Mohammed Bouzidi and Glen Muenkat scored for the Ravens in the victory.
After RMC’s Henry Gagnon opened the scoring in the 16th minute the Ravens would hold RMC without a shot the rest of the way on route to the victory. Scott Mazzotta finished a penalty in the 20th minute to tie the game at one before Kevin Kaba scored in the 35th to give the Ravens the go ahead.
Mazzotta would open the second half scorer only 5 seconds in before Mohammed Bouzidi and Glen Muenkat each scored their first as Ravens to come away from back-to-back Friday afternoons in Kingston with a complete six points.
The Ravens are at home on Sunday afternoon for a high-powered matchup against the UofT Varsity Blues. Despite being early in the season, the matchup between undefeated teams could quickly prove to be vital in the table.
