Sherbrooke, Que. – The Carleton Ravens women’s rugby team started off their 2022 season in a big way defeating the Sherbrooke Vert-et-Or 72-7 on Thursday night.
Returning to the Ravens after time with the Canadian national team program 2018 and 2019 RSEQ First-Team All-Star Maya Addai set a program record with 6 tries in the match. Addai also passed Bailey Dean (2015-17) for second all-time in points scored with 120 career points.
Scoring came early and often for Carleton jumping out to a 29-0 lead at the half. The Ravens continued offence builds on last season’s successful campaign which saw the Ravens collect their first RSEQ medal in program history.
